Since January 1, 2023, Apical Reforestadora has been managing the plantations of Quercus Panama, LLC.

Environmental Responsibility and Certifications.

Apical operates with a steadfast commitment to long-term environmental sustainability. All our plantations, including those of Quercus Panama, LLC, are managed under a single FSC® group certificate (FSC-C017156), which Apical Reforestadora owns.

We have maintained FSC certification since 2012, ensuring that our logs and plantations adhere to the highest international standards for responsible forest management.

Furthermore, we are fully compliant with EUDR regulations, guaranteeing transparency, legality, and traceability throughout our supply chain.

Beyond Compliance

Going Beyond Compliance for Conservation.

We view our plantations as a vital environmental asset, providing essential benefits such as carbon storage and erosion control. While the FSC requires a 10% protected area, Apical dedicates a full 23% of its total area to conservation efforts. Our wildlife monitoring program has also documented numerous species utilizing the plantations for living and foraging.
